One with Christ, one with each other, and one in ministry to all the world!
We are a friendly United Methodist Church in the residential part of Jenkintown open to all persons regardless of their background. We take seriously our relationship with Jesus Christ and his command to make disciples. We offer Sunday School for Adults and Youth at 10 AM with a Sunday Worship Service at 10:45 AM. We also present a Children’s Moment coordinating with the sermon during each Worship service. Ministries such as Men’s Prayer Breakfast, Prayer Study, Sisters in Christ, and participation in outreach programs such the Jenkintown Food Cupboard, Ronald McDonald House for Children, the Breathing Room Foundation, and Shores of Grace are designed to draw everyone to a stronger commitment to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. We live out our Christian responsibility to help “the least, the last, and the lost” by involvement in social outreach ministries.
Our Church Purpose Statement:
As believers in Christ Jesus we strive through God’s grace to be a Christian family. We are a diverse group of people representing a broad range of religious thought. We seek through prayer and the inspiration of the Holy Scriptures:
- To make and sustain disciples of Jesus Christ.
- To proclaim God’s word as it applies to the daily lives of the congregation.
- To worship and celebrate the Sacraments together.
- To experience Christian fellowship by upholding one another with love, joy, and faith.
- To discover and develop our gifts for ministry and service.
It is our mission to support and maintain the global proclamation of Good News of Jesus Christ to the least, the last, and the lost.
